My childhood entailed a lot of resentment and confusion. I grew up in the church. I hated it. I wanted to fit in at school and couldn't understand why I was so different. I did not understand why or how I was to serve God. My college years, God really had to deal with me. I made terrible choices and had no remorse or regret. So much happened in between that time. The pitfall of my life is when I was arrested for a DUI. I had hit rock bottom. My life as I knew it was over. I hated myself, but did not know how to rid myself of this hatred. A spirally downward hole of regret and pity, I had no clue what type of plan God had for me.
Fast forward to today, I am currently a licensed pharmacist. I had no idea how much God would change my life for the good. He is my provider, my healer, my everything. When times are hard, He is there to lift me up! I can't stop telling others about Christ. How He can get you out of the rut you are in. It is easy to feel pity and sorrow for yourself and stay that way. But you will be a much stronger person when you make an intentional decision and chose to follow Him!
I pray that this blog finds you....anywhere you are in life, that it finds you. And that God uses me to work through you. I will be posting all kinds of poems, stories, scriptures in hopes of reaching nations and generations.
